| Change Administrator's Password
|
| After installing AShop, the administrator's password should be changed. Enter the old password, then enter the new password twice.
|
| Note: If you forget and lose your password, you can look it up from the mySQL database "user" table. Most servers provide a control panel tool such as phpMyAdmin for browsing records.

|
| Shop Name
|
| The Shop Name will display in the browser title bar of the catalogue page and in the product delivery page by default. It also displays in the "From" e-mail field of customer receipts and affiliate messages. It is recommended that you do not use HTML tags or special characters to format the text in the Shop Name field as most mail servers will reject messages with tags in the "From" field of the message header and special characters, such as ™ may not appear correctly in e-mail messages.

| Note that if a page template for the catalogue, delivery, or affiliate sections is present, the page title within the template file will display in web page browser title bars instead of the Shop Name setting.

| Telephone
|
| The Telephone number appears in the store or organization contact information, which is displayed on the product delivery page.

| E-mail
|
| The store administrator's e-mail is where notices of sales transactions and downloads are sent and is used as the return address for customer e-mail receipts. This e-mail address will also display on the product delivery page.

| Address
|
| The store mailing address is displayed on the product delivery page.
|
|
|
| Shopping Cart
|
| The Shopping Cart check box selects whether the shopping cart basket will be displayed for multiple items to be purchased in a single transaction.

| · | Shopping Cart On Mode will display multiple products and will allow the purchase of as many products as the customer selects. "Put in shopping cart" is displayed on the button beneath each product listing and each product that is selected is added to the shopping cart. In this mode the View Cart box is visible in the store catalogue and displays the total dollar amount for all items that have been added.

| With Shopping Cart On, a "Put In Shopping Cart" button will appear next to each product within the catalogue. Products may be added to the cart.
|

| A subtotal box, View Cart button and Check Out button will appear on the page.
|
|
| View Cart dispays the contents of the shopping cart with buttons to remove items, empty the cart, continue shopping or checkout.
|
|
| If more than one payment option is set, Checkout will show a list of payment options to select from. If only one payment option is set, the payment options are skipped and the secure payment gateway form appears.

| · | Shopping Cart Off Mode will display multiple products in the store catalogue, but will only allow the purchase of one product selection in each transaction. This mode is typically set where only one item is purchased within each order. In this mode, the "View Cart" box does not display within the store catalogue page. Customers may select one product from the catalogue, purchase the product, and checkout. If more than one payment option is set, Checkout will show a list of payment options to select from. If only one payment option is set, the payment options are skipped and the secure payment gateway form appears.

The following example has only one category, so the category tree and search box does not appear on the left. The product in this example is setup to email an unlock code and a password to download the product file in the customer receipt. The product also has a license agreement requirement in order to purchase it.

| Allow Download For
|
| A password is e-mailed to customers upon receipt of payment. This password is required to access the downloadable products. The password will expire after the number of days that is set in the Allow Download For box. Setting the allowed download days to 0 disables that restriction.

| Allow (quantity) Downloads Per Product
|
| Each password will work to download a product file this many times within the number of days that Allow Download For is set to. Set it to 0 and any number of downloads are allowed.

|
| Link from order page
|
| After successful receipt of payment a login page is presented to the customer. Below the name and address of your store, there is a link that says "Back to [ashopname]!". The URL of this link is set by the "Link from order page" setting within Shop Parameters.

Key codes are emailed to customers. New key codes are added from a line delimited text file. If this box is checked, the key codes will be used in random order. If the box is unchecked, the key codes are used in the order of the original the text file, from top to bottom.

After editing the Shop Parameters, click the Submit button to save changes to the database.
|
| Click cancel or the browser back arrow to discard the changes.
