Early versions of AShop may have an .htaccess file within the admin directory for security. This file is no longer needed by AShop as of version 3.5. The presence of the hidden file may be a nuisance on some servers.
.htaccess files are hidden from view on many client side FTP browsers. If your web hosting control panel provides a file manager, you can see if the file is present in the admin directory and delete it.
Note: Another way to deactivate the admin/.htaccess file is to upload a blank .htaccess file to the admin directory and replace it.
