Affiliate Or Reseller? What is the difference?

Affiliate
The AShop Software affiliate program is designed for click through sales from web sites or newsletters. Affiliates benefit by receiving commissions for each referred sale. Affiliates are not required to provide any kind of support or service relating to AShop Software.

Tier-1
When visitors click through an affiliate's link, a tracking cookie is planted. If the visitor becomes a customer of AShop Software, a commission is paid to the referring affiliate. Commissions are set per product and are paid by PayPal from AShop Software to each affiliate approximately 60 days after each order. See affiliate program for details.

Tier-2
When a visitor clicks through an affiliate's site and then becomes an AShop Software affiliate, 3% of the new affiliate's orders are paid to the first affiliate. See details about how the 2-tier affiliate program works.

Reseller
The AShop Reseller program is for webmasters and hosting services who have the ability to provide installation and a basic level of support to their customers.
